"I bequeath free of duties and charges the sum of $ ________ (amend accordingly for assets or estate residue) to Australian Childhood Foundation for the general charitable purpose thereof and I declare that the receipt of the Executive Officer or the Honorary Treasurer of the said Company shall be sufficient discharge to my executors."
We all want to leave our mark on the world, to make a difference to the lives around us now and into the future. One way of doing this is by making a bequest.
A bequest is a gift left in a will. When you leave a bequest to the Australian Childhood Foundation, you give a gift that will impact a child's life for the long-term by giving them a chance at a happy and positive future.
It takes approximately 12 - 18 months of specialist counselling at a cost of $6000 to help a child recover from the trauma of abuse, neglect and family violence.
Your bequest will help deliver counselling programs to vulnerable children so that they can smile, trust and learn again. To discuss your bequest further, please contact Katrina McCann on kmcann@childhood.org.au.
